Please Join us in Welcoming Dr. Ian Brawner to the Practice!!!

Dear Valued Patients and Friends,

The time has come to transition my practice with new energy and youth. I have been mentioning to all of you my retirement was close and I am staying true to my word. I am excited to announce Dr. C. Ian Brawner to the practice. Ian will be the primary care dentist starting October 21, 2024. I will continue to treat patients for the next 6 months as needed. Ian shares my practice philosophy of comprehensive and conservative dental care, along with offering expanded dental treatment options. I have been courting Ian for over 2 years to make sure he was the best fit for all of YOU! My staff is looking forward to working with Ian to make the transition as easy as possible.

Dr. Brawner comes to us with thirteen years of private practice experience. He is a graduate with honors of the esteemed Oregon Health Science University - School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and a leader of Dental Success Today.

Dr. Brawner is a credentialed member of:

  • Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (requires over 500 hours of Continuing Education in a balance of dental treatment modalities along with credentialing examination)
  • Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (300 hour of implant specific continuing education along with oral and writing examination and case defense)
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (highest credentials possible in the realm of dental sleep medicine)

Ian, his wife Karla, and daughters Brinn (13), and Blakely (10), have lived in Georgetown for almost 9 years. He was a college basketball player and enjoys golfing in his free time. His wife, Karla, was a college volleyball player, and currently practices as a Professional Civil Engineer.

Dr. Brawner has owned a practice in Austin since 2016 but has made the decision to move his dental care to Georgetown to serve the community in which he lives along with being closer to his kids' sports and activities.

Even though there is no interest in pointing dogs in the Brawner family, the dogs will still be there as long as I continue my passion of quail hunting! As most of you know, quail hunting keeps me recharged and married! Two very important benefits!

It has been a blessing to work with each and every one of you over the years, thank you for putting your trust in me. I wish all of you the best and hope you will feel as comfortable with Ian as you were with me. I am confident he will be an excellent doctor to meet your dental needs.

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Brawner!

Warmest Regards

Dr. Chris Cornman
